Oman Tourists can not stay overnight at Damaniyat Islands Natural Reserve anymore. The Environment Authority (EA) have stopped issuing permits to staying overnight at Damaniyat Island for visitors.
In a statement issued by the authority, the decision has been taken in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
“We would like to draw your attention that the Environment Authority has stopped the issuance of overnight permits for the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve in compliance with the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 and the decision will remain until a further decision to allow landings at the beaches is taken by the committee,” EA said in a statement
