Muscat, Oman’s capital has an extremely beautiful historically significant area. Structures with Eastern African wooden galleries and a few seaside posts make Muscat a scenic and calming destination. This town is home to fortresses, castles, exhibition halls and markets, offering something for everyone. While you can’t visit the inside of the Qasr Alam Royal Palace, you can go to the harbor to get a close view of the beautiful building.
Standing watchman over the royal residence are Al Jalali and Al Mirani’s twin fortifications, which have been converted into galleries and are usually available to people. The breathtaking Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque can also be visited by non-Muslim tourists on most days, respecting highlights such as a colossal precious stone ceiling panel, marble divider boards and the planet’s second-largest Persian rug.
