Salalah also has one of Oman’s most famous Sultan Qaboos mosques. The mosque is in the middle of town and is an architectural marvel. It has two wide domes, and two tall minarets, all white and decorated with golden shapes. The interior of the mosque is adorned with beautiful lanterns, the walls are embossed with unique designs and the floor is covered with green rugs. The Sultan Qaboos Mosque reflects the wonderful Omani architecture and is one of Salalah‘s must-visit attractions.
